Dino recently completed shooting of the Pilot Presentation announced in May with fellow leading cast Rider Strong and Maggie Contreras with an amazing crew. The shoot went incredibly well and post production on the project has started. Stay tuned!
Dino has booked the lead character in a pilot presentation for a TV series. The project has not been announced yet so we can't tell you much except that it is written by a highly regarded British writer and it is being produced by a well established British film and TV production company that currently has a series with the BBC. It goes to camera in early June 2010.
Dino will be playing the lead character, JACOB the Blood Merchant in the upcoming graphic novel BLOOD MERCHANT. It is being illustrated by legendary comic book artist ROB PRIOR and is being shot frame by frame and painted directly from Dino's performance as Jacob. It will be 6 comic books in total which will be combined to form the complete graphic novel. The first comic book in the series has been fully shot and is currently in production. It will be debuted at Comic-Con in late July 2010 with Dino Antoniou in attendance to do publicity for the series.
Dino has flown to Australia (returning to LA in early April 2010) to help make the feature film FACE TO FACE with veteran director Michael Rymer (Battlestar Galactica, Flash Forward, Angel Baby, etc.) and Cinematographer Dennys Ilic. Dino will not be working as an actor on this film - he will be working in various production roles, including being the Data Wrangler, On-Set Photographer, Videographer and even occasionally working with the actors.
